On Tuesday of this week, I underwent a fairly extensive surgery on my left knee. The physician and his crew of students :/ successfully completed a Fulkerson Osteotomy, medial patella femoral ligament repair, and patella arthroscopy - so hopefully I will soon have a new knee. :)
I have been so very blessed by family and loved ones who have been praying for me, sending me sweet notes and flowers, watching movies with me, or playing lots of games (and letting me win despite my altered mental status due to hard core pain meds!)
I just wanted to update whomever reads this blog that I am doing well - thankful for lots of opioids :) and trying to keep a positive outlook - it is only going to get better from here! Please keep me in your prayers, as I have an extensive recovery. I am just sitting around now so if you have some time to stop by or give me a call, I would love the company!
