This Thanksgiving, my mother and family from Maine drove down to spend the week in Virginia. Other than seeing my mom for a couple days in September, it had been since last Thanksgiving that we really spent any time with this part of our family. I was delighted to have several days off of work - so Jarrod and I were able to spend some quality time with them - and even get some family pictures taken. We were sad to see them go, as my attempts to convince them to move to Virginia were unsuccessful, but hold fond memories from our time together.
