Fall fun!

Time has gone by so quickly these past few weeks as we've continued to settle into our jobs and our home in New Market.

In the past few weeks - besides work and unpacking - we have also celebrated several family members' birthdays, spent some quality time with my mom who was visiting from Northern Maine, gone camping on Skyline Drive and enjoyed exploring this quaint town we're living in. We've been able to spend some time with our friends, Nathan and Melodie May, who live close by -- Jarrod and Nathan have even made a Frisbee golf course around the New Market park (I'm sure he'd love to play a few holes with you)! It is hard to believe that we are half-way through October! Last night we gathered together at the May's house for a potluck dinner and some pumpkin carving fun. Here are some pictures carving our pumpkin:

Jarrod gave me the task of digging out the inside... but I made sure he got down and dirty as well :) While I sorted out the pumpkin seeds, Jarrod worked hard at carving the pumpkin!

The final products! :) Happy Fall!
