To start Marc's third year off right, we had a loud, crazy birthday party with lots of Marc's (our) friends in Seoul. Marc shares his birthday month with three other boys, so we decided to celebrate together on Saturday (yesterday). Marc got to play with lots of toys, munch on all sorts of fun snacks (a highlight for Marc), down some amazing -and HUGE- cake.
Marc, Liam (sitting beside Marc), and Coby (sitting far right) all turn 2, & their buddy Cade turns 3.
Emma slept like a champ through the party - there were plenty of arms that wanted to snuggle her!
All of the birthday boys with their Mommies - and a Pororo Happy Birthday sign in Korean :)
Marc blew out his candle like a champ! (Good thing we practiced ;)
Marc wielded a fork better than I have ever seen him. :) He has proven he CAN use one, Mommy won't forget when he wants her to feed him...Marc was TIRED after this extravaganza (and coming down off of the sugar high), Marc took a hard nap. When he woke up (hence the crazy hair and outfit), we had PRESENTS to open! Yay, more fun!
Emmalyn was such a sport and cooperated better than I could have hoped for us to focus on Marc. What a good little sister. ;)
Yesterday was a lot of fun - and Marc doesn't even know we get to do it again, TOMORROW! Ok, not all of it - but we will let him blow out another candle on some of the left-over cake and open presents from our families. 'Cause, I mean- that is be the part, right?
Happy Birthday, Son!
