Kentucky!

Ever since I met Jarrod he has been talking about his Kentucky family (his Mom's side of the family) - how they are so fun, how they love to play cards, and how the rules of our cards games should go by how they play in Kentucky. :)  Since we started dating, he began preparing me for the day we went to Kentucky by teaching me card games, telling me stories, and quizzing me on the names of Jarrod's mom's 9 brothers and sisters and spouses! Well, after 2.5years of marriage, we finally made it to Kentucky!  Here are some pictures:

Marc did so well on our trip! We definitely stopped longer than we would have to give him a much needed break from the carseat, but we couldn't have asked for more from our sweet 4 month old!

Marc went swimming for the first time on his 4 month birthday and LOVED it! :)

We stopped by Jarrod's grandparent's old house to take a tour and share more memories...

We had a picnic where we met lots of family and Marc was passed to many open arms! We also played games of cards and "corn hole", drove around Owensboro to "see the sights", ate mutton...

...and left as Kentucky Fans!
