Marching on...

After the excitement of Marc's 1st birthday, it seems as though there is not much to write about.  March is moving quickly and already we are looking to the 4th quarter of school, then April.. and May.. and traveling back to the States!  Jarrod and I are already making shopping lists!  But I am getting ahead of myself, as it is still March and this month has plenty in it already.
So what have we been up to?

Our life seems to be consumed at the moment with caring for Marc. Alternating, bronchial asthma with the stomach flu and back to asthma.  At least we were not giving nebulizer treatments while Marc was losing all forms of sustenance in every manner possible.  We have been taking it day-by-day, and with the Lord's grace - lots of phone calls to my dad (a pediatrician) - and Baby Einstein - we are making it though Marc's seemingly endless sicknesses.  January. Now that was a good month. no illness. Let's make April just like it!

March has some highlights, namely March Madness - bracket challenges and basketball on our big screen thanks to live streaming and computer cord hookups - and Spring Break! Yeah, for Daddy being home all day to play with Marc!  Marc is also finally learning to sleep through the night, and doing really well!

Favorite Moments this month: Listening to Jarrod and Marc playing with Marc's toys while I am making dinner or doing dishes... the next thing I know, Marc is standing behind me in the kitchen, but I still hear Daddy playing with toys in the other room. :)  Marc doesn't quite appreciate what a fun playmate he has, but very soon he will learn that there is no one like Daddy!
