pumpkin carving

This year, Marc learned about Jack-O-Lanterns from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse... so he was pretty excited when my mom brought a pumpkin home from the grocery store.  We decided to  make a jack-o-lantern that looked like Marc's Mickey book.

He was less excited when I cut open the pumpkin and he smelled the inside.  

Emmalyn got her hands dirty with me - but was a little unsure of it all.

By the end, I was carving the pumpkin by myself.. but both kids think it looks cool. Maybe next year they will help out more?
