Ohio family

This weekend both Jarrod and I had time off of work and traveled to Ohio to visit my sister, Rachel and the rest of the Farrell family. It was our first time to visit their beautiful home and that part of Ohio so Rachel and Craig spent some time showing Jarrod and I around local favorites - such as White House farmers' market, Craig's office, and the surrounding towns. We enjoyed late night games together, playing with the kids - Victoria and Caleb, and lots of good talks. Craig and Jarrod had some good brother-in-law bonding - as Jarrod helped him do various tasks around the house, and they went out to eat and shooting together on Craig's family property. Rachel and I are glad they get along so well - as it gives us plenty of time together as well!

Here are some more pictures of our time together:
When we first arrived, we celebrated birthdays (The entire Farrell family has birthdays from March-May - so we made sure to bring presents for all!) Rachel surprised me by having a.. long awaited present for me as well. :) (It was supposed to be my 17th birthday present, Christmas present in 2004... and a wedding gift in 2007). :)
We had lots of fun playing with the kids... Victoria loved having Uncle Jarrod as a playmate! Rachel caught us all trying to watch the end of Pinocchio with Victoria :)

Even though we don't get to see each other often, I am so thankful that we are able to pick up with each other and share our lives and hearts when we are together. And when we are apart, we know that we carry a piece of each other with us - and keep each other in our prayers. Our time spent together was restful, refreshing, and encouraging.
Thank-you, Farrells, for opening your heart and your home to us!

Wow, her baby isn't so baby anymore!! Is that a clothes line they were putting up? Maybe Jarrod can come help Angel do one at our house! ;)
So what was the gift she gave you?
