"All over the world this Gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God's grace in all its truth (Col 1:6)." Join us in prayer that we together may "live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that we may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light (Col 1:10-12)."

Growing Strong
This weekend we went to Camp Mount O' Pines (I think?) with the entire YISS staff - as a time set aside to get to know each other well and also to introduce the theme for the new school year. This year's theme is "Growing Strong" from Luke 2:52, "And Jesus grew in widsom and stature, and in favor with God and men." We had fun playing games, enjoying some of the nature that surrounds Seoul, and getting to know one another better. The experience was complete with sleeping on a "yo" 요 - a korean sleeping mat - that is actually more comfortable that it may look (esp. if you pile two on top of each other! :) I am thankful for this time to get outside of the city and to hear of and prepare for all that the Lord is doing at and through YISS.
