Every Fall, the YISS PTO puts together a "Fun Fest" - a festival on our soccer field complete with games, prizes, yummy food and lots of fun. It is a great time for students and teachers to interact outside of the classroom. Each class in Elementry School, homeroom in Middle School, and even some of the clubs in High School contributes booths to the event. There is always a lot to do!
Jarrod's homeroom class decided on a face painting booth. It was very popular, despite the 8th graders lack of face painting experience. :)
Jarrod even jumped in to do a couple designs!
Marc definitely drew attention from the staff and students... and he even helped sell YISS paraphernalia at one of the booths. :)
Another highlight of the night was the pie throwing booth... especially when Jarrod was the target.
At one point, four 8th grade boys lined up in a row and sent the pies flying at him. I think it was some 1st and 2nd graders that got him the best though....

It was a fun filled night, and by the end Marc was a tired boy...
Fun Fest 2010 was definitely a success!
