Before we had Marc, Jarrod and I took a Babymoon trip to Saipan in the South Pacific. This year we didn't travel anywhere over YISS Christmas break (mostly because we thought perhaps we would have the baby during this time.. oh well, the best laid plans...) but instead have thoroughly enjoyed spending time as a family and focusing on Marc in his final days as an only child. We have been taking around one outing each day to somewhere fun for Marc to run around and explore (indoors!). A few days ago, we decided to check out "Pororo Park" - an experience somewhere between a Kid's cafe (child's playroom) and amusement park. It was decked out in complete Pororo theme - the major cartoon character in Korea and one of Marc's best friends to play with (we have a lot of Pororo action figures in our house..).
When we arrived and Marc first saw the life-sized Pororo statues, he was beside himself with excitement and wonder.
We proceeded to have a thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours, completed by a late lunch at TGI Fridays.
This is definitely a must-repeat sometime in the next year!
